I had a brief stay for one night, and it was good. Though the room was small per the typical Tokyo standards, it was clean and well-equipped. Staff at the reception were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The location is great, just 5 minutes’ walk to Ueno JR Station, it was a really good value for money.

It took a moment to get used to a small hotel room, but, as we had everything we needed, we acclimated very quickly. Room was very small but ok for 1 person for 1 night. The aircon could not be changed and was stifling hot with no way to change it to cold. This was centrally controlled and made sleeping very difficult until some relief was obtained by opening the window. However, this made the room noisy.
