This is a beautiful heritage hotel that I can truly recommend. The architecture, ambiance, and overall atmosphere are lovely — you really feel like you’re stepping into a piece of history. We only stayed one night, but I easily could’ve stayed longer if we’d had more time. Unfortunately, due to thunderstorms, we didn’t get a chance to try the pool.
The experience overall was good, but service brought it down slightly. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and while the setting was nice, I was served grilled chicken that was half raw. Initially, I was told I would only get a 50% reduction since I had eaten a few bites, but in the end they agreed to waive the dish. It wasn’t a huge deal, but it could have been handled more professionally.
Breakfast was a bit underwhelming, but again, the ambience of the property makes up for a lot. It’s a peaceful and memorable place to stay — and despite the hiccups, I warmly recommend this hotel, especially if you're looking for something with charm and character.
