Apartments at Mer & Golf

We booked for 3 days and the positive points are the location and private off road parking, there is an outdoor swimming pool and indoor gym and hot tub, I would think that when this was new it was very good, it is now dated and gives an impression that it needs money spent to bring it up to date, the apartment furniture is dated and utensils could do with deep clean. If you are on a budget, then OK, if looking at 4* hotel standard you will be disappointed. It was OK and served as a base.

Not luxury, but perfect for our stay.

The hotel is in deed of some TLC and it seems, has been for some time. The pool was unavailable as the water had not yet been certified but the beach is within easy striking distance. The towels and bedding were spotlessly clean; the king size bed was exceptionally comfortable - we never tried the bunks. The sound and view of the ocean from the balcony was exactly what we were hoping for in Biarritz but the room remained quiet with the shutters and patio doors closed. We were surprised to find a kitchenette which was welcome. Ample parking for free was most welcome: garage parking is offered at additional cost. I would not hesitate in returning - the price reflects the experience and the staff were kind and considerate.

It’s a tired property that is in good need of an update/upgrade. Because its dates the era it was developed obviously didn’t care for sound proofing. We had 3 people booked but only 2 towels (for one night we just used one of our beach towels) The Seaview room we booked was was in need of repair so we got put in a golf view room for 6. Good for 4 people at best as there would be two on a sofa bed but no room to put bags or sit anywhere even tight around dining table and kitchenette. Was just ok for one night

This place is horrible. Everything is old and outdated. I asked for an extra pillow for my baby not to fall off the bed and they denied my request. Very inflexible. You have to pay extra for breakfast and to use the spa. The apartments are claustrophobic. The elevator is rusty and seems like it may not make it. Don’t recommend this place for families and it is definable not a 3 star.

hôtel correspondant à mes attentes bien situé. J’apprécie le parking, La piscine et est complètement adapté aux animaux de compagnie qui sont les bienvenus. en effet, on peut constater quelques signes de vétusté mais ils ne sont pas majeurs en ce qui concerne mon appartement. je remercie la direction de m’avoir surclassé. L’établissement est adapté aux séjours en solo ou familial.

Sejour Résidence Mer & Golf Anglet

Notre chambre n était pas prete à 20h30 à notre arrivée. On nous a fait attendre 1h30 pour trouver une solution, nous proosant d autres chambres inferieures à nos prestations payees,nous avons donc refusé. On nous a trouvé au boit d 1h30 une chambre finalement en insistant. Dans cette chambre on a eu une inondation des balcons donc on n a pas pu se mettre au balcon, ça a ete repare au bout de 3 jours! Aucun dedommagement pour tous ces inconvenients alors que nous venions chaque année dans cet établissement qui laisse à desirer desormais et qui est devenu vétuste et à l abandon, portes et fenetres qui ont du mal à fermer et ouvrir. Le ménage n est jamais fait dans les parties communes, c est sale et négligé, meme la piscine n est jamais nettoyée, on n a jamais vu quelqu un passer un coup de balai. Personnel au petit dejeuner tres antipathique. Je ne sais pas si j y reviendrai. Tres déçue.

Soit disant 4* alors qu’il n’en vaut pas plus de 2😡 hormis le personnel à la réception le reste est dans état lamentable 👎 (sanitaires degeulasse et empestant l’urine, literie ancienne et inconfortable, pas de climatisation, piscine sale dont la douche est au bord de l’explosion tellement elle fuit) au tarif exorbitant par nuitée c’est juste inadmissible. L’accueil dans cet établissement s’est bien passé. Nous avions pu profiter du sauna le premier jour. Néanmoins la piscine était fermée pendant toute la durée de notre séjour. Et il était plutôt compliqué de réserver le spa puisque les horaires n’était pas respecté, on nous a dit que le spa était fermé à cause d’un taux de chlore anormalement élevé…
