Location was good, right in the heart of Namba and there's a Lawson right downstairs. Hotel comes with a lounge with free flow drinks and snacks for all hotel guests, there's also a laundry room with washers and dryers, as well as a vacuum pack machine so ensure that you shop to your heart's content. The only drawback is it does not come with a driveway so if you arranged for transport, you have to walk out to the main road.

Go-to hotel in Osaka

This is my favorite hotel in Osaka. Ever since we’ve stayed here in 2023, I always book this place whenever we visit Osaka. Location is perfect - near various train stations, 5-min walk to Dotonbori and Kuromon market. There’s also a small Don Quijote branch near the area (around 3-min walk) which closes at 3am and some drugstores. Beside the hotel is Lawson and next block is Family Mart. This hotel is highly recommended to those traveling with kids and elders.

Great property overall with nice amenities (private lounge, luggage storage and scale, laundry room). The location is great if you’re looking to stay central to Namba and easy transportation all over Osaka.

Triple Share and still had some space!

The hotel is in a fantastic location and easily accessible from the metro station. Lots of facilities available. Best part is that the beds are comfortable and even with 3 beds in the room we had space to function. This hasn’t been the case in most of the hotels we’ve stayed in on this trip. The breakfast is excellent too.

The laundry option was awesome especially for a family with young kids! The hotel did their best to accommodate us when we arrived and there were not enough beds. Pay attention to bed count because the hotel will still accept your booking even if there are not enough beds for each person!

Affordable, central and with loads of advantages.

The hotel has a very nice flair and nice rooms. They have a free of charge lounge where guests can enjoy drinks and snacks. They offer a laundry room with over 10 machines, also free of charge! The breakfast buffet has sufficient options and there is a Lawson store right at the exit. We lived that they had complimentary PJs in the room. They could consider renovating the lights in the bathrooms as they are very dim and don’t provide enough light for make-up. Unfortunately, the room also didn’t have enough storage room for longer stay.

Great location, I could walk to almost everything that I wanted to do. The laundry room is great. The lounge was great for drinks and a snack. My room and the carpets in the hotel could be cleaner. I noticed the next day that another guests hairs and a stain were on the sheets of my bed. There were also multiple hairs in the bathroom from someone else. I saw maids in the hallway and asked for water for the room but it never came and the room was not serviced. I think this is the only hotel that I’ve stayed in that does not have a bell service to store luggage.

Lovely place to stay but we had booked for three and had to ask for extra bedding, towels etc. Great location - just walk out the doors and you are in the middle of shopping mall!

Premier room was incredible

Stayed in the premier room with 4 beds. Room was incredible, very new, high end appliances, super clean and the bed was extremely comfy. Lots of space in the toom for all 4 of us.

This is our go to hotel whenever we are in osaka. They got better because of their new renovation. Laundry room and lounge area are better. Location is perfect, close to evrything train station, restaurants, and shopping. We’ll definitely back.

Hidden gem in a bustling tourist area

Namba Oriental Hotel was recommended by my sister’s family. It is conveniently located near metro subway line, it had wide variety of shopping and food options nearby, although a very busy night life in neighborhood; the hotel rooms were quiet and secure. They had English speaking staff that made check in easy. They provided good quality toiletry products. They also provided free self service laundry machines that helped save money and a clothes vacuum press to help with packing suitcases. Their staff also helped with forwarding large luggage bags to our next hotel and had a self service storage room for our extra baggage so we could continue explore neighborhood with ease and comfort after check-out.
