A beautifully landscaped property on the black sand beach of Playa Potrero. The room was simple, clean, and comfortable. The staff was excellent, the lounge area by the pool and beach was very enjoyabke, and the food was nice (even the free breakfast). There are a handful of restaurants and a food store within a 5 minute walk as well. We would stay again.

Loved that the property in on the beach. Lots of restaurants around the property. Onsite restaurants does not have any vegetarian choices. The room did not have enough lighting in the main living areas which was a big disappointment. We stayed in a two bedroom room and it was a little rundown.

I would never stay anywhere else again. Everyone was so nice, welcoming and accommodating. Room was was clean, and nicely set up. The grounds were so pretty. There are several restaurants, a grocery store and even a couple spots to shop. It’s very safe and you’re mingling with the locals. It’s great. Giovanni was our pickup and drop off to the airport. One word describes him. FANTASTICO!

Beautiful boutique hotel with lots of dining options within walking distance. We had the two bedroom family suite, which was large and very nice. Unfortunately, we heard the street noise and band/karaoke from the bars while sleeping. This is our only complaint. The staff was extremely helpful, breakfast was amazing and the daily yoga was a nice surprise. The beach is dark due to volcanic sediment, but was quiet and safe. You could walk 1 mile in either direction. Plus there are multiple restaurants on the beach. Loved the atv excursion and sunset cruise! Such a great trip!
