Overall ok

Difficult to rate. Initially the property felt tired and busy but it grew on us over our 4 day stay and there is a lot to like about it. Relatively good value and the food offerings aren’t overpriced and service charges are shown inclusive in menus which made it easier. I think the cheaper Forrest rooms are better and I don’t think I would want to pay for the superior sea view ones as they were closely spaced and not as good in reality as pictures.

Amazing resort. The cabin we stayed in was the sea view one which had the most incredible view. Walking through the rainforest everyday was amazing, but do make sure to bring bug spray with you. The pool and beach were amazing and always clean. The lounge chairs at the pool fill up quick, make sure to get down there early. What made this place so incredible is the staff. Every single interaction was amazing, they would always go above and beyond for us, including setting up a honeymoon greetings on the bed for our arrival. 10/10 service. The food was also amazing, all restaurants on the resort had tasty food and made it feel like we never gad to leave the resort to eat. Bugs will come in if you leave your door open, but we made sure to go in quick and generally avoided any tiny friends coming in. But the resort did leave bug repellant in the room which was a nice touch, as well as the umbrellas everywhere including in the room. The wifi wasn’t the best overall, which is my only point of constructive feedback. I would recommend this place 100%, specifically because of the staff and how hospitable they were. The spa was also a 10/10 experience, despite those cheeky monkeys running into the reception area causing havoc.

Excellent experience and stay. We stayed at the Rainforest Chalet with the dinner included. it was awesome to see the monkeys right outside your door. The breakfast was excellent. The restaurant and staff specifically at the Beach Brasserie were amazing. From the service to the food to the drinks. The private beach was so nice, sand was soft and water was warm. The swim up bar at the pool is a plus. We wish we would have stayed more days.
