Our room smelled like cigarettes and unfortunately so did the sheets and bedding. The walls are very thin, you will hear everything your neighbor does. The front desk staff was very kind.

Hidden Gem if you don’t need fancy!

I stayed at this hotel many times while passing through Whitehorse! I used to get a more expensive one close by, but that one can be loud with smokers outside a bar on a Friday night. I switched to staying here and always enjoyed a beautiful view of the river, quick friendly check in, perfect location if you don’t have a vehicle in Whitehorse. Gorgeous walk along the river, restaurants, unique mall, shoppers drug mart, and gift shops are all nearby! The hotel is not fancy, but it works very well and always kept coming back!

Choose another place.

This hotel was definitely not as I expected. First parking was a nightmare. The only door to the facility was the front door that did not even open all the way the bathroom sink was cracked, and overall the room was dirty the staff and the bed and bed linens were excellent though. I was supposed to stay tonight and elected to leave after the first night . It just did not feel safe overall the hotel did refund my pet fee and my second night lodging when asked so that was good.

Pools of water on the carpeted floors, staff didn’t understand how to make change for their laundry (refused to exchange quarters for a Canadian dollar coin but would exchange a paper dollar for one…?), bed was hard as a rock, most outlets in the room didn’t work, most only worked if you had the bathroom fan and lights on so we had to sleep all night with them on to charge our phones
