Comfortable, spacious room with a nice view and a beautiful location. Lodge dining areas have a stunning patio and the food was quite good. Short drive to incredible hikes. Pricey, but well worth a visit.

A fabulous place to spend a few days while we explored Freycinet and the surround coastline. The staff were exceptional in helping us arrange activities, providing advice and insights for hikes and trails.
Our only regret is not spending more time here.

Location is awesome. Very easy access to honeymoon bay. Hiking in the national park is fantastic. The whole area was very well developed for tourists.
We waited 40 mins for dinner at the bistro and that wasn't expected.
Overall it was great experience.

Beautiful resort! Loved our cabin. Large open, airy, views of the water! Kitchennet, sofa and TV. Balcony with chairs and table. It was perfect! Loved it! Dinner was awesome. Great staff. Even better views from the main dinning room and the large deck off off lobby! I would love to go back again!

It is a bit stressful to know there might be tiger snakes around. Maybe they should put traps to try to catch them and release them further away from guest cabins.also the heating system seems to have dirty filters because when turned on, there was strong mildew smell. Have to then turn it off.
For an expensive hotel, I do expect the room to have been updated not so out dated.

Stayed here one night for a wedding. The resort was a bit tired and seeing as we paid $1000 for the night for a family cabin, we were disappointed that we had zero veiw from our balcony and that the cabins themselves were in need of an update. Having said that, the bed was super comfortable, the cabins were quiet and the staff were all super friendly and helpful.

Bring nighttime entertainment- no tv
Loved the lodge.
Breakfast was amazing however was very slow, asked for lactose free milk in coffee and was given full cream, when asked about it they got one from the table next us, was sick all day.
Tv reception was not working during the night and some of the day, they were blaming weather, however weather was perfect .
However we will return.

Extremely over rated
I stayed Saturday night 15th March. Checked in 1355hrs, the staff member looked at my reservation and told me I'd booked through another company in a derogatory way then informed me my room wasn't ready.
Checked Bay restaurant menu and prices. Made reservation. At restaurant menu prices were different to website. Asked waiter why different? He replied that it's been like that for a while nobody's corrected it. Told him it was false advertising. Left and went to Richardsons restaurant. Service was extremely poor there. Difficult to get served. Food was very average. Wait staff need learn how to smile. They were very surly.
Definitely wont be recommending or staying there again.

Freycinet Lodge is absolutely spectacular! The room is very comfortable and offers great amenities. Some coffee machine issues that were not addressed, and most staff were very friendly/informative but unfortunately some staff were slightly harder to communicate with (condescending). Two dining options, one formal and one more relaxed.

The property is located ideally for a hike up to Wineglass Bay lookout and down to the bay itself.
Staff who excelled in service were Leigh and Swasti.
