Nice, quiet hotel in a courtyard. Many restaurants right outside and close to shopping. Good communications; bus and subway. The room was a bit worn, as it often is in Paris. We slept well in the beds and it was well cleaned. We really liked the area.

Badmouthing manager, shouting through any conversation and literally pushing friendly staff around! We got a tiny room at first (for 3 people) but after we complained, got a bigger one, which was nice. First the manager said the breakfast was included, but checking it, it appeared to be not. Room cleaning went bad; we were asking for toiletpaper, towels and new wastebin bags ourselves, which made the manager angry again. Hot water was finished on our last day, so no morning shower. Execpt for this and the bad man a nice enough hotel.

Nice suites in nice area

It was a good hotel in a good neighbourhood. Lot’s of reaturants and countless creperies are situated in walking distance. 3 metro lines are less than 5 mins walk which makes this hotel connected to the downtown / old Paris very well. It was clean, and the clean the suites every day, except before your last night. Which is normal, I think. The staff was helpful and kind. They were willing to speak English which is a big thing in Paris. :-) There are 2 negatives with their suites. The toilet is upstairs. So whoever sleeps dowstairs has to climb a steep staircase to do “their thing”. It is very uncomfortable during the night when you basically cannot even see. Secondly, the heating… If you go there during the winter, the upstairs will be hot as hell, and you’ll freeze downstairs. We weren’t able to set a good balance. We couldn’t sleep in 32 degrees upstairs. But if you bring down the thermostat to 22-24 (which is a nice temperature upstairs) you need to sleep literarly in coats downstairs.

I did liked that it was relatively close to the iffel tower 10 mins by taxi, 45 mins walk if the weather is favorable... when I reserve am pretty sure I included breakfast and it wasn't included and the way the administration manager made me realized that breakfast wasn't included was very rude and impolite, around the hotel are nice restaurants cost average per meal could vary from $20€ to $86€ per plate depending on the spot you pick, Taxi service will try to overcharged once they noticed that you're a tourist.

Overall the hotel is very run down and the rooms unclean. The sheets are not changed even when there are signs that they are dirty. The towels were very old, the miniature fridge was very dirty and had hair inside, dirty clothes from previous customers under the sofa bed. The manager was very rude and opened our room while we were inside and didn’t even explain why. He would yell at staff customers. Not a good experience.

It was ok. When we checked in the man at reception told us that everything is fixed and we will have breakfast included, and he showed us where the breakfast was served. When we checked out 2 days later, the man who checked us out said that we need to pay for breakfast... It seems they didnt have everything clear there, it was not so much money for the breakfast but if we knowed that we going to pay extra for breakfast we could have a better breakfast outside the hotel on restaurant insted.

The rooms were too old and dirty, and they charge me city tax more than it supposed to be. It supposed to be $11 and they charged me $22.50 euros . The night time receptionist told us he will refund us in the morning when the manager came and they didn't refund us that money.

A Shabby bedroom

The hotel facilities are old and shabby, the lighting is dim, and the air conditioner can operate normally but it emits a sour smell. We cannot accept that we finally give up to use it. We ordered a room with two double beds, but it was provided with a double bed and a single bed. Finally, we were transferred to another room with a double bed and two single beds of different heights. It did not match the photos as online at all. Pay the expensive city tax (€5.50 per person per night), we are not recommended to anyone
