One of My Favorite Hotels Ever!

From check-in to check-out, this hotel excels. Reception staff member took extra time to make recommendations on sights and breakfast wait staff hand-wrote suggestions for dinner restaurants. Hotel itself has an eclectic vibe with red cabinets in the very comfortable rooms, colorful carpets in the halls, and plush seating in the lobby. The breakfast buffet, available 7 am to noon, was excellent and included cooked-to-order dishes like Swedish pancakes and avocado toast with egg. The location of the hotel is next to a peaceful park, steps away from a bus stop and a block from the Metro. Old Town (Gamla Stan) is easily walkable, two bus or Metro stops away. The area around the hotel has many restaurants and bars, including several on the lively Swedenborgsgatan. A few blocks away is Ivor Los Park which offers dramatic views of the city.

Beautiful, clean hotel with a fun vibe in a great location central to everything. The staff were excellent and very helpful at all times. We loved the 24/7 coffee bar located on the 4th floor which was so convenient and we were surprised at the excellent quality of the coffee! Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the variety of options. Would recommend this hotel and we would definitely return in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was a good size and the bathroom was nice. Breakfast is included and has a range of options. We ate at the Bistro on our first night and the food was really good. Staff are all really friendly. The hotel is easy to get to from the airport and a good base to explore the rest of Stockholm.

Our room was very comfortable and has the best ironing accessories of any place we stayed. The staff was very helpful in pointing out areas of interest. Location was close to public transport and the restaurants had a wonderful selection of food. There also was a free espresso machine with fresh fruit available. Highly recommend this hotel.

Move if your room is a disaster

My first room was terrible. Filthy carpets, TV remote was dead, the safe didn’t work, and there are no blackout curtains. The curtains they had did not cover the windows completely, and it was light for most of the night. I complained and they moved me to a beautiful room, which is what they should’ve given me to begin with.

Excellent Property and Service

Best hotel of any I have stayed in in last three years. Cleanliness is impeccable and room las large with clean carpeting. Centrally located and near the Silja ferry dock. I was asked if I would be having breakfast in the morning I said I had an early flight and they said they would pack me something to take and the next morning they remembered! Never had such excellent service.

the hotel charges much to much for an outdated room with a bad smell, no blackout curtains, and peeling paint. They need to either lower the rates for the older rooms or do some major renovations. The lighting was annoying, with no overhead lighting and no central light switch. I have never spent so much time trying to turn on and off various lamps. I would have been ok with the subpar furnishings, but it is unacceptable to not have proper blackout curtains or blinds in a country where the sun is up most of the night in the summer. Sleep is a basic necessity. I was told to use an eye mask. Also, the hotel doesn’t have a bellhop or complimentary water so be prepared when you arrive if you choose to stay here

Ei kannata kesällä mennä

Huone oli siisti, mutta kulunut. Uupui kokonaan ilmastointi, huoneessa vain pieni puhallin ja pyynnöstä isompi joka oli aivan pölyinen josta lensi sitten pölyä joka puolelle. Huone todella kuuma. Huone sisäpihalle ja vastapäiset asunnot todella lähellä. Huoneessa vain pimennysverhot. Huoneessa ei valoverhoa lainkaan, huone sisäpihalla ja näky suoraan vastapäisiin asuntoihin. Eli kaikki mitä huoneessa teet näkyy vastapäisiin asuntoihin. Eli vaatteita pitää vaihtaa verhot kiinni pimeässä. Pimeässä sen takia, että huoneessa tosi vähän valoa. Ja valoista piti itse laittaa johdot seinään sitten kun löysit johdot. Eteistilassa kaksi pientä spottia katossa, työpöydänvalo ja yöpäydän valot. Huonetilassa ei lainkaan yleisvaloa. Vessan lattia ja koko vessa aivan järkyttävän kuuma ja lämpöä ei voinut säätää mitenkään. Jos suihkun ikkunan puusälekaihdinta ei muistanut laittaa kiinni niin pytyllä istuessa näkyi suoraan vastapäisiin asuntoihin. Veden paine oli hyvä. Auton parkkeeraus maksusta, mutta et tiedä missä auto on sillä henkilökunta sen vie ”jonnekin” ja tullessa penkki melkein ratissa kiinni. Polkupyörät sai samaan paikkaan kun ”laukku säilytys, se oli hyvä. Aamupala oli ok. Hotelliin kuuluvassa ravintolassa joka alakerrassa ei kannata syödä ainakaan pihviä. Pihvin saat kylmänä ja todella sitkeänä. Eli syömättä jää. Tupakointi sallittu kadun toisella puolella, siellä ei ole tietenkään tuhkakuppia eikä roskista. Kiva matka vanhaan kaupunkiin polkupyörillä pyöräkaistoja

Allt var genomgående perfekt, från första mötet vid incheckningen, till hotellmiljön, rummet, frukosten och utcheckningen. Jag bor mycket på hotell pga reser i jobbet men hade aldrig varit här tidigare, och blev verkligen positivt överraskad. Det här är det bästa hotellet jag har bott på!
