Beautiful older row house that has been made in to a bed and breakfast. Lots of character to the property and conveniently located near the hospital med centers and coolidge corner shopping and dining.

This is probably the worst inn we've ever stayed at.
First off, the room had a detached bathroom. I wish I knew this before I booked my room.
Second, the room itself was tiny and super cold. I stayed with my husband, and we both couldn't close the window because of the air conditioning unit on the window sill.
Third, the shower made some strange pumping noises as I showered which really scared me.
Fourth, the breakfast area, which was lackluster to begin with, wasn't well stocked each morning.
Overall, I would never stay here again. I'd rather book an actual hotel.

We had a very nice big room in a brownstone with comfy beds. There were fresh croissants and muffins for breakfast. The location was perfect for our overnight stay.

I didn't like anything. Our room didn't even have a bathroom we had to go out of our room and down the hallway. Their breakfast was very small. It was noisy. There is a subway stop in front of it. I would not recommend this place.

Nice inn. Friendly staff. Great morning coffee and continental breakfast in lobby. Cool room with amazingly large tv. Lots if apps for entertainment. Bathroom is a little weird with step up into it but clean and functional. No temp control. Too warm at first but with closed vents and window open I was able to find a good temperature for the night. Very cold night was not a problem at all. Excellent and charming place reasonably priced. Will definitely go back.

The Beacon Inn is a lovely old row house property. Check-in was easy, and the woman at the front desk was kind and helpful. My room was lovely, spacious, and clean.
