Great hotel in Deming. Affordable and clean. Very pet friendly. Good place to walk my dog. It is an older motel but has been remodeled and kept up nice. My only complaint was a very strong deodorizer smell in the room. It was over powering. I would stay here again. Also great coffee machine for breakfast!

Good until we were woken up at 3am with persistent knock on the door from an elderly lady saying we ordered room service. The front office was informed of the incident immediately, and upon check out.

Check in was Easy and Fast. The receptionist was friendly. I wish I would have remembered her name. The rooms were spacious and clean. The floors did not have carpet so that was a plus for me. And the Bed was Comfy. They do offer breakfast but I didn’t wake up in time.(Thanks to the comfy bed) Would stay here again.

Deming NM is small town, but Walmart and Walgreens not to far from Hotel. Plenty of parking even if you have boat or trailer. Hotel had no noise from traffic or trains. Good value for the money. Not a big choice in restaurants. Did find a Chinese place Rate 3 out of 5. Prices ,$$.

I didn't actually stay there after obtaining a reservation. The owner attempted to extort money from- changing the price of the room- I complained and canceled the reservation thru my credit card. I am glad that I didn't stay there- the reviews are horrible and the facility looks neglected. Deming is not a great place to stay. If you need to book a place choose Las Cruces- it's like night and day.

The size of the room is very nice. So is the layout. They were blood stains on one of the blankets, but they were changed out when we complained. Towels are hard/stiff. We asked to have our room cleaned every day. They cleaned it the first and second day but not the third. We ended up running out of toilet paper.

Overall, this Best Western was good/very good. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet with minimal I-10 traffic and train noised. The only negative about the room was the heating and cooling unit that was beneath the window as in so many motels. And like many of the units it was difficult to obtain a comfortable temperature that could be maintained during the evening. The breakfast was good with waffles, eggs, sausage and potatoes plus cereal, muffins, bread, yogurt and a few other items. The dining area was small but because we were there early we did not encounter a problem in finding a place to sit.

Long road trip to see family. The room had updated floors LVP and furniture was modernized BUT linens have not replaced so they are showing and feeling their age. It looks like owner on premises and in process of updating. I would recommend that they invest in all new sheets and towels. Breakfast needs to be fresher( eggs look like yesterdays) it fits for anyone keeping to budget. We were tired and location, rate and bed were good. We felt safe parking in front of our room and plenty of lights. Room has had curtains replaced by privacy and darkening modern shades. Linens are probably in the works.

The motel is old and it is filled with oil workers. The breakfast wasn’t that great. The property has seen better days. I’m not sure how it got rated so high. Their staff were not engaging or friendly We stayed at a best Western in Sweetwater and it was perfect, clean, inviting and the staff were so sociable. What a difference

I like old school motels and even better when run by a national chain, or so I thought. My key card kept acting up, to the point I was afraid I’d lock myself out, and that’s after having the clerk redo it. Very friendly at the front desk. But the room, a refrigerator that didn’t get very cold and with no freezer compartment. Not a big problem in the winter but 90 degrees in May, different story. The tv remote would not work and there was a rhythmic knocking noise in the bathroom area. No idea what causes it but it never stopped. If the tv is on or other background noise you can’t hear it but at 5:30 am when your trying to go back to sleep, there it is. So for a motel run by Best Western I was very disappointed.
