Got checked in, had to slam the door to get it to latch. Bed and room “looked” clean. Took a shower before bed and noticed something didn’t feel right about the floor, looked at the bottom of my feet and they were black from how nasty the floor was. Keep in mind I hadn’t even made it 10 steps out of the bathroom. I’ve stayed in hotels at least 80-100 nights per year and this took the prize for dirtiest. When I pulled the covers back the bed sheets were dirty as well.

Quality of the room and grounds disappointing

The staff was friendly and amazing, but the rooms are not in great repair. Grounds were also not well maintained. Would be ok for a quick overnight sleep - but not at the price listed.

The staff was very helpful and the rooms were clean, but it was a dated location. The rooms were upgraded and clean, but the doors felt flimsy and not quite secure because they were old. The same for the restrooms, they were old and a very tight squeeze.

The Quality Inn of Plainview was a very comfortable place to stay on our journey across Texas!! It was quieter than expected since it is near a thoroughfare. I heard no traffic noise through the night!! The shower was hot and the towels were soft, a delightful combination. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable!!

The front desk staff and the lovely lady assisting during breakfast hours were incredibly kind! The room was decent not a luxury hotel, but clean and comfortable enough to feel at ease. The only downside was the bar attached to the hotel, which made parking challenging. We had to park across from our room.
