10/10 Exceptional

The guest house was perfect for us. It was considerably away from the tourist hot spots, but close to the botanical gardens. We like to walk, so the location was very good. The breakfast was very good, and the service at the hotel was consistently excellent.

6/10 Good

A quiet guest house with very friendly and approachable front of house team. Whilst it is a little bit of a distance from the city centre, there are good bus connections and a load of local, quality restaurants within reach. I would happily stay here again.

Lovely traditional b&b. Well kept, clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. A great stay.
Katherine, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Very friendly staff. We showed up 3 hours early for checkin and they were able to hold our bags, let us use the rest room and dining area, and gave us parking allowing us to walk to the local pub to kill time.

Danielle, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

A quiet off street, walking distance to food and bus. Small, clean and private. Everyone I ran into, both staff and guests, were kind and inviting. There was a very nice inner courtyard that was a secret gem of a spot to be for a few moments. Would definitely stay again! Thanks Egans Guest House!

Christine, 14-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

This was an excellent stay for our first time in Dublin and Ireland as a whole. The bed and breakfast feeling was definitely here. Breakfast was fantastic and the rooms were clean and cozy. Would totally stay again someday.
David, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The absolute worst hotel!

Do not stay here. This had to be the worst place we have ever stayed! Even compared to European small room standards! The pictures the hotel provides are misleading. Everything is old! The beds and pillows are hard. There is carpet on the floor in the bedroom which made us question the overall cleanliness of the room. There is poor ventilation in the rooms as well. Definitely not worth the prices they are charging. This felt more like a hostel than a bed and breakfast. It was so uncomfortable that we left earlier than planned and found a beautiful newer hotel in Dublin's shopping district with a king bed for less than what Egan's charged for their run down facility.
Brenda, 2-night trip
