A nice hotel for the area & price

The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and professional, and the location was very good. Parking in the garage was not as difficult as it is in some European hotels. Breakfast buffet was good, but the selection was somewhat limited. Scrambled eggs, looked pretty sad and watery and bacon was either burnt or undercooked. Also, one of the cappuccino machines seemed to be not working properly. For a downtown hotel with very limited amenities, the price was fair.

Our stay at Hotel Palace Verona was fantastic. Mario Ibrahim was a great host to us, ensuring we made the most out of our trip to Italy. He kindly had breakfast ready for us, provided a map of the local area with things to do and was generally just a lovely person to meet.

The property and rooms are well kept, even dough the furnitures are not the newest. However, room was tidy and clean, staff was nice and helpful. To reach the hotel you need to catch the bus or get a taxi. It's not close from central train station.
