I travel in this area for work about 2-3 times a year and look to stay at the Summerset as it is right in the middle of the work in the Rapid-Sturgis-Deadwood area. It is always affordable and clean.

A Bit Disappointing

Overall a good hotel for crashing for a night. The issue was that the hot tub was out of order which was one of the reasons I picked this hotel. The pool was open but the water was too cool to swim, the pool room was dark and there were no pool towels.

Keep looking for better hotel

Asked where to go for dinner in the area, clerk laughed and said 8 miles up but everything there's closed on Sunday. Beds were beyond worn out,tried to sleep but the springs made it impossible. Booked this location because of hot tub, it was unavailable.
