50th Anniversary Getaway

We love staying at the Wildwood Lodge! They keep the 2nd floor as pet free. Their hot breakfast in the morning is really good! The bed was so comfortable and we enjoy the gas fire pit outside!

Will DEFINITELY stay there again!!! Very clean, the property was "kept up", no visible signs of disrepair. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was very good and they kept it replenished. Check out wasn't until Noon (very convenient).

Stay was great! We always choose the Wildwood when we come to Des Moines. The breakfast is top notch and the people are so friendly. Only issue: there was a light out in the shower and we found one hair in the shower. Nothing too big, we still enjoyed our stay and it didn’t hinder us from wanting to stay again. Overall will be back!

Beginning to be a little dated…

We’ve always liked this hotel, but it’s beginning to be a little dated. The night we were there it was filled with loud family, gatherings, kids, and teenagers. Breakfast is never great, and that hasn’t changed. Does not accommodate gluten-free.
