The place is loud. Hiighway, air-conditioner, doors closing shake your bed. Oh and the air conditioner smell like a animal died in it. Stay away, it is not a good place to stay.

We were first greeted by Thomas at the front desk. He was welcoming and so friendly. It was refreshing. Our room was so clean and we loved the set up of the room. They offer a free breakfast which was excellent. Then our second night we experienced the bar and met Nicole and what a lovely bartender. She was great. We really loved the place. It was a great experience.

Solid but not heavy

The Evergreen is an exceptional property that is still being renovated but is open for business with limited interruption. We were very pleased to see that the restaurant in the hotel is award winning but missed the opportunity to actually taste the food since they were closed while we were there. Augusta is a hard surface city with many renovations taking place. What I mean by hard surface is that many of the building are made of granite. Evergreen’s red exterior stands out in an otherwise safe color space. We will definitely stay here again. We paid up to stay here and it was well worth it!
