Stay on Marthas Vineyard for Jaws 50th Celebration

Really good value hotel in a great location with a private beach. Personally I never got to take full advantage of the private beach but my wife and kids enjoyed it. Had a good but noisy air con unit in the room which kept room at a respectable temperature. Could have done with an extra day on the island and to enjoy the beach a bit more but had to rush off on the monday morning due to a rescheduled activity in Boston before flying home. A truly great experience

Vineyard Harbor Motel - just skip

Our room needed to be completely gutted. Paint was peeling, siding was water damaged, floors were coupled and there was a strong odor of possibly mold. Everywhere you looked, work needed to be done. Someone entered our room after we turned in for the night. Someone from the office came a bit later and said they made a mistake.

Quick trip for a play

Booked a very quick one night in order to see a performance of The Shark is Broken at the MV Performing Arts Center. We were able to check in seamlessly. Brianna was so accommodating, cheerful and helpful. She allowed us to store our luggage the next day for a few hours after check out. Kitchen was extremely clean, fully stocked and comfortable. LOVED all the hooks and shelves in the bathroom as well as the extra room. The beach was very clean and the beach towels good size. We noticed that this part of MV was not nearly as crazy or busy as the other towns during JAWS summer madness. I would recommend this motel to couples and families. For sure, we will be back. Sorry we could only stay for one quick night. Shops, restaurants and buses make the island experience perfect.

Pretty decent place

The rooms are renovated and clean however our room smelled of fish. No room service was provided for our 2 day stay. The staff is not very accommodating. The coffee machine was broken. Most people who came with us in the morning checked in early but we were made to wait a long time even though the cleaners were in the room early to clean. Overall good.

A little get away

Staff was excellent. They let us check in early as we took a very early boat. Staff very friendly including offering suggestions on where to go and where to eat. The motel is undergoing renovations. We were on the second floor that had been renovated. Bottom floor and outside of motel need to be updated desperately. Location was amazing. Sitting on the beach in the Adirondack chairs was breathtaking
