Awkward check-in and very early departure time.

I arrived in the evening and had to check in at another hotel, the Waves. It was confusing and time-consuming, and it wasn't clear how to get to my room on the second floor of one of the buildings. The agent offered unclear instructions about where my room was and my building. This is an older hotel with beachfront access. They also have a 10 am departure time. When I asked to be allowed to leave at 11, they said I had to call in the morning.

Great stay

I went for a little getaway with my fiance and it was one of the best trips we have had! We had poolside king was close to pools and not even a minute walk to the beach. It felt like a dream! Loved every second of it. Bed was big and cozy and pillows where nice too

Beautiful house type hotel on the beach. Very comfortable bed. Views from the room were not good. There wasn't a microwave in the room. The bathroom was almost touching the bed. Paper products were the cheap kind which is weird for that price range.

Woken up several times throughout the night

The AC was noisy and woke us up as it didnt keep consistany noise and would sometimes jolt and rattle. The door also rattled and woke us up anytime our neighbors were coming and going. Light came through a lot too so thats why it would jiggle so much, the gap.

The room we stayed in for this property was very old and not really updated. The bed was not.particularly.comfortable, the sheets were old, the plugs for electronics were inconvenient and few, the internet didnt work well, the pool was old and dirty and checkout was at 10 am...very inconvenient. We wouldnt stay there again and were glad we only had one night there. It was close to the beach and in a very walkable location in Old Orchard Beach.

The room we had was on the 2nd story street side. Lots of late night partying, yelling and screaming from people in and around the property. Lots of street noise from cars and trains. Pallets and construction debris left in the walkways. Would not stay here again.

Had to stay up till 12:30am waiting for a defective smoke detector to be replaced. Response was timely after the failure at about 11pm and staff was courteous, professional and responsive, but the situation was disruptive to a 3 night stay.
