The resort is situated on the Lake. Enjoyed the views. Enjoyed the sauna. The only thing that wasn’t that great was the mattress on the studio Murphy bed. Very uncomfortable and squeaky .

Great Stay

The condo was nice and clean and well stocked with pots, pans and everything one may need to cook a meal. The staff was friendly, the check-in and check-out were painless. The property has a nice private beach, a volleyball court, a playground and a pool with sauna. We would love to come again in summer.

Great Stay with Excellent Service

From the moment we arrived, Sam made us feel so welcome. He greeted us with a big smile and such warm energy, which set the tone for a great stay. The hotel itself is in an amazing location, right on the lake and close to Safeway and plenty of good restaurants. The rooms are a bit dated but have a comfy, homey feel, which we really appreciated. The hot tub wasn’t huge but was a great amenity along with the sauna, perfect for unwinding after a long day. For the price, this place is absolutely worth it. We’d definitely come back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and affordable stay.

Had a 2bd2ba room, great value! The provided radiator heater worked well however only heated one room well, and the main heater left the living room , kitchen, and other room quite cold. So might need 2-3 heaters per 2bd2ba to ensure everyone is warm thru the night

Cozy and out-of-this-world customer service

We stayed at Tahoe Sands for a quick mid-week couples getaway. We stayed in one of the cottages. I couldn’t be happier with the location, amenities, views, hot tub and especially customer service. The guy at checkin gave us great advice for happy hour on Tuesday, Spindleshanks. And at checkout we got a little extra time to relax. We will definitely be back!

Sweet stop for a night!

Sweet little gem on the water at a great price. Clean and well stocked as a studio. The queen bed advertised was actually a Murphy bed double. But all else, including staff was wonderful!
