Nice hotel but with some noise issues

The hotel itself was very nice. Large room and clean throughout. The staff were generally very friendly. The main issue was the noise outside on a Friday and Saturday night. Unfortunately during these nights, a small bar/club is open from midnight until 5.30am. During this time there is a lot of noise from people in the street which made it very difficult to sleep particularly in our room which was on this side of the hotel. We also felt the price to have breakfast at the hotel was far too expensive.

There was no air conditioning in the room. We picked and booked this expensive hotel because it said it had air conditioner. The room was really hot and stuffy; we talked to the front desk about it and their answer was that the hotel had turned off the air conditioner because it was going to be cold outside at night; but we couldn't even open our windows because we were on the first floor (dangerous) and the windows didn't even have air ventilation.

Nice stay in spite of small problems

Nice central location. Friendly, polite and smiling staff. Clean and good intention about environment regarding both desinfection between breakfast seatings, towels and the idea about asking for eg toothpaste. BUT bad shower: took at least 3 minutes to get hot water (invironment..) and it was almost impossible to wash hair regarding to total lack of water pressure.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, and great strategic location that is close to everything. Just needs minor fixing (caulking in bathroom, minor cracks/space gaps in laminate floor. Would definitely recommend and would use again. The cook/food attendant seemed a bit grouchy when he was asked for coffee, as he was all alone with no help on December 2, 2023 during breakfast time. Could use additional staff member and maybe self serve coffee maker.
