Parking was great, just out the front. Entrance was welcoming, lovely door staff and reception. Cosy feel with the fires lit. This is a gem of a property sort of on the outskirts of Dublin, away from the noise of the city, and yet just a short bus ride away from the center of downtown. Quiet area south of Dublin but easy to catch a taxi into the central city. Huge grounds that were great for walking around with a kid (they loved the "Secret Garden"). Bar and Lounge area is very cool and breakfast buffet in the garden was a hit with the family.

The staff were excellent and so friendly and welcoming. The food was very good also. The grounds of the hotel are very well kept and it’s a bonus having parking. Our room was fine, the bed was very comfortable and it had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this hotel. The only negative would be the noise of the air conditioning but better to have it than not have it. I just want to reiterate again how good the staff were.

The hotel outside is definitely a 5 star hotel. Beautiful landscape, kept beautifully. But the rooms inside are like a 3 star. Restrooms need remodeling, restrooms didn’t flush. Tiles around the floor all broken. Definitely very outdated. The staff was wonderful. But the rooms need a huge upgrade. Feels like they put all the effort to the outdoors and main lobby. But rooms was a dissatisfying. Specially considering it’s a 5 star hotel.
