Reception couldn’t find our booking. Or the people behind us. Had to tell reception the price I’d booked and the room type. Check in was painfully slow.
Shown to room, asked about breakfast times and was told it was £10 per person. Explained that Expedia said it was included, and the receptionist acknowledged the fact.
Room… Fire alarm panel on the opposite side of the wall had a fault on it, and beeped throughout the night. Was still going in the morning. Room was ok, and would have been quiet, barring the fire alarm. En-suite Bathroom needs a bit of money spending on it. Shower pressure was low, but just about acceptable. Bed was comfy enough and lots of wardrobe space.
Lady cooking breakfast seemed surprised to see us. Obviously doesn’t talk to the receptionist. Cooked breakfast was poor, the undercooked sausage, dangerously so. Could also hear her talking loudly/shouting down the phone. It’s all a bit… amateurish.
Price was cheap enough, but I wouldn’t bother again.
