I stayed at the Rumi Hostel for two nights and I loved the atmosphere and how comfortable the bedroom and living room were, as well as the convenience of the complimentary breakfast. It was great value and worth the stay. The metro stop was also close by as well as good visiting sites. I would definitely like to come back here again whenever I visit LA next time!

It's a small facility, but it's a perfect spot for traveling solo, I stayed to attend a concert nearby. There are a lot of plants in the outdoor area which makes it feel like an oasis in contrast to the usual LA smog. Kitchen is well equipped, quite clean, overall a great value. Highly recommended.

Excellent Staff! Congrats girls, always very friendly, kind and polite! Good location in Koreantown, close to Wilshire Western Station, Downtown Los Angeles, supermarket, shops. Good Wi-fi signal, delicious free breakfast with Nutella and some rooms have confortable beds. Clean roooms and bathrooms.

I've known about the Rumi for years but this was my first time staying. I'm glad I did. You can't beat the location if you need something in central Los Angeles or Koreatown. The facilities and property was clean and quirky. Easy access to public transportation/metro. Would definitely stay again.

Reception's girls are friendly and polite. Good kitchen and delicious free breakfast. Room and bathrooms were clean, but my bed was very unconfortable. Location is great, close to the shops, restaurants, supermarket and Wishire Western Metro Station, which is only three stations to Downtown Los Angeles.

Excellent hostel in Koreantown!

Excellent hostel in Koreantown close to Wilshire Western Station and Downtown Los Angeles. Staff friendly, kind and polite. Good free breakfast and Wi-fi signal. Good kitchen and clean bathrooms/rooms. Unfortunately, the unique problem... some guests that don't respect the rules and make much noise in the room, but it not depends on the property. Many thanks girls for my time at Rumi Hostel!

Amazing location and stay, 10 minute walk from the D line. Staff went above and beyond to correct a mistake I made by selecting the wrong dorm and were able to get me a room regardless. Room was clean, beds were clean and the place was secure. Very much so recommend staying here 10/10.

Honestly it’s great if you’re stopping by and quick in and out. The bathrooms are a bit aged and so is the property but it gets the job done. I thought the breakfasts were going to be premade but you have to make them yourself. No real issues the staff were super friendly and nice! I really loved my stay at the Rumi Hostel. I met nice people and felt safe during my entire stay. The bed hurt my back, I believe it may not have been firm enough. Other than that, it really was a beautiful stay. I’d like to come back some day soon.

Place to stay overnight while being out and about

Arrived at least an hour early but checked in late (~20 minutes) as room not ready as per check in time. Able to use dining area, wifi and shower/bathroom prior to check in and leave bags nearby. Location was good to catch public transport and not too far to visit tourist attractions. Ensure you leave enough time to travel and mostly during day light hours.
