We enjoyed our stay, unfortunately the lift was out of order which was inconvenient but otherwise the hotel offered all we needed. Overall the hotel was very ckean, however the room was rather dusty. Staff all friendly and a great location for visitibg Durham.

Great location and ideal hotel

I stayed at the Delta for one night with my husband whilst visiting our son at Durham University. The location couldn’t be better as it is just across the bridge from the Bailey. Our room was very specious, clean, quiet and comfortable and we will definitely book again.

Birthday long weekend.

We stayed for three nights for my husband's 60th birthday. The hotel was great, clean and tidy and the staff were wonderful. I had booked a Deluxe room but we were upgraded to a superior room by the hotel before we arrived. The only downside to this was our room was in the newest part of the hotel (Riverside) and the lift to take us to the link walkway was broken which meant that we had to walk up and down four flights of stairs, two floors, which took it's toll on my arthritic knee.

Visited my son who also stays in the hotel whilst at work in the area. Great room , comfy bed, wonderful brekkie,great staff, happy hour from 4-6 , clean and tidy but hotel is a little tired. One negative is the £11 per night for car parking . Will definitely stay there again .
