More interested in being an event venue.

All that this hotel has going for it is its location. This hotel seems to cater to events, like weddings, graduations. Everything is built around facilitating loud music and such for those events. Not very good if you need sleep any time before 1am. The air conditioning had two settings: refrigerator and off. Our party took several rooms. Almost all had mechanical issues of some kind. Disappointed.

The property is a heritage building restored to perfection. The location is excellent, in the middle of old San Juan. The restaurant was excellent. There is smallish rooftop pool with a separate Jacuzzi. The pool side serves free coffee and hot water in the mornings and wine and cheese in the afternoons. The property itself is gorgeous and restored to perfection. Would love to come back and stay again.
