10/10 Exceptional

Nice

Good for business. Nice pool to relax.
John, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Perfectly city centre situated

Hotel could do with a bit of TLC but it is situated perfectly for city centre. Great walking distance for points of interest, pubs, restaurants and Bramhall Lane.

Tired hotel. Look elsewhere.

Everything about this hotel is tired. The reception staff seem disinterested. The rooms are still plastered in 1970 s wood chip. There are no USB ports for charging. The air con is rudimentary. The breakfast is limited. The location is convenient but that's about the only positive I can add.
John, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Nice hotel centrally located and within walking distance of train station

6/10 Good

Novotel stay- Sheffield may 2025

Slow check in service with only 1 member of staff, the room was extremely dated and a damaged shower head. The bar area was great, we enjoyed some amazing cocktail, the location is perfect and parking great too
Emma, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

It was ok, over priced for what it was. There is a pool but be warned you have to book and there is a maximum of 7 in the pool which you are not told about until you get there. The room was very hot and stuffy and the floor boards where very creeky.
Rachael, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Very dated and overpriced for the room that we had, executive room, it was like a 2 star apartment in spain with pebble dashed walls and a tiny window, very poor hotel, you would expect much better for £180 per night.
Glyn, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Excellent all round.
Raquel, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Perfect stay for my partner and I, loved the location as well
Brianna, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Great one-night stay

The rooms were a decent size and were very clean. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The onsite swimming pool was a bonus.
Louise, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The hotel is well used - it shows in the room.
CLINTON, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

A nice hotel in the centre of the city. The decor was quite dated. Would stay again.
Kb, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Really convenient for the Crucible and other city centre attractions. However room too warm, pillows too hard, and breakfast kept running out. Executive room a good size and well designed. Clean and modern bathroom.
Amira, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Very disapointed, the worst 2 nights sleep ever

The room was unbearably hot. I appreciate that there was a heat wave, but the rooms and hallways have zero active cooling and the windows bearly open. So even as it cools outside at night, the hotel does not. I asked the reception why they could not do anything about this and was just told there was a fan. Mobile aircon units in the hallways, would have had a significant effect to cool the hotel, but the management take no action. I wont be staying there again.
Martyn, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

the hotel is attractive and the rooms appear pleasant. however a lack of air con during hot weather and a general "shrug your shoulders" attitude from staff was unhelpful. whether you advertise your rooms with aircon or not, you still have to provide some compensation (free hydration for eg!) for guests who are boiling hot in hotel rooms...staff were well meaning and some were great but generally need better training to deal with issues as they arise. rooms are also a bit tired in some areas and lobby and bar area inconvenient for working guests - few plug points and poorly designed layout next to large glass windows that reflect on your screen.
Kim, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Good location, rooms a bit worn with minor maintenance issues
Mark, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Handy location, lovely staff and good bar options without leaving the hotel.
Grace, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Mainly due to age (I am 80) I quite often have difficulties when staying at hotels but can honestly say I everything (including Price) was excellent. A bonus was the location, lovely view and everything I wanted to see was virtually next door.
Valerie, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

A great hotel with walking distance to the heart of Sheffield City.
Futra Zamsyah, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Convenient hotel, short walk from station.
Rachel, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

The location is good and the lobby is nice but the rooms are incredibly dingy and badly needing an update. We initially were only given one towel, the toilet wouldn't flush properly in our room. For the quality, the price should have definitely been a bracket lower. Wouldn't stay again and wouldn't recommend.
Laura, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Lovely stsy

Lovely stay in city centre. Offered upgrade on check in. Bar staff told us about joining reward scheme to get half price drinks on happy hour. Room spacious and very clean. Lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Tram stop only short walk for Meadowhall or arena. Would highly recommend
