Lively atmosphere

I stayed on a Saturday. Majority of guests seemed to be there as a base for going out on the town. Lively atmosphere outside the front of the hotel and live music playing in the hotel bar. Room had quite a random collection of furniture but was clean and had everything you need. Staff were polite and efficient.

To our surprise and delight, we were upgraded to a better room without even asking — a beautiful gesture that made our trip even more special. The upgraded room was spacious, spotless, and had stunning views. Every detail, from the luxurious bedding to the thoughtful amenities, exceeded our expectations. Service throughout our stay was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm. The hotel’s location was perfect for everything we wanted to do, and the facilities were top-notch. We can’t recommend this hotel highly enough and will definitely be returning. Five stars all the way!

I love this hotel

I love this hotel recently renovated very central. It’s not modern. Always ask for an upgrade. You may have to pay a little more but well worth it very competitive.

Good room.slept very well..but spoilt by another quest who had 2,barking dogs which caused was out of control.no lead.in garden.running after customers..was .I made complaint about this woman who seemed to entice dogs to misbehave...this hotel should not accept dogs to annoy guests..

We quite liked this hotel, the rooms were big and within keeping with the age of the hotel. The hotel is quarky but we liked that and town is a short walk along with the beach. We had sea views from our room which was lovely. Food not too bad and the same as anywhere else cheap. We would stay again.

We have just had a nights stay and altho for some people the hotel would appear old fashioned and outdated thats what makes it so unique and has a oldy world feel about it .The staff were friendly and professional and our balcony room overlooking the sea was spotless and just perfect .infact we relaxed on the balcony and caught some winter sun .highly recommend
