This hotel offers rooms with a view of the beach right outside the back porch! I was pleasantly surprised that the large hot tub and pool are open until midnight every day! The free breakfast was decent, including pancakes, eggs, sausage and bacon. My wife and I plan to come back here every summer!

BW Plus Dockside is a great place to stay when visiting Makinac Island.walking distance to the ferry, clean comfortable room. Thank you Olivia for doing an excellent job preparing our room. There are many restaurants within walking distance or a short drive at a varity of price points. There is a small beach behuind the hotel and we enjoyed a walk on the nearby pier this morning. The breakfast room is large and the attendant was very good at keeping everything refilled and clean. Definitely would stay here again if in the area.

Everything was super clean and check in was easy! The private beach was nice and so was the indoor pool. It was kinda cold when we stayed so we kept to the heated indoor pool more. There was a ton of stuff to do in walking distance and we even shuttled from the hotel to the ferry! The only thing is the bathroom was a little small and kinda dark but that didn’t really bother me too much. Overall this’ll probably be my go to hotel when I come back!
