Nice hotel with convenient location

The hotel was conveniently located to the Charleston area convention center and provided the amenities that I enjoy at Tru hotels. We had a lack of housekeeping though which put a bit of a damper on the stay. When I called the front desk to ask for clean towels (since we were on day 3 and hadn't had housekeeping come by at all) they did bring them to our room quickly.

Other than checking in and going to a room that didn’t have sheets on the bed it was good. The second room we were assigned after telling front desk the original room wasn’t prepared had some water damage next to the shower in the bathroom and a tile was missing.

The positive; a pleasant staff. Everyone was incredibly nice. The hotel and lobby appearance were pleasant and our room was clean. Not so positive: thin walls. Even casual next door conversations seemed loud. We were there three nights and had zero room service. I reported a broken window shade on day 1- never repaired. Breakfast was OK.
