We had an absolutely outstanding stay! Our room had the most outstanding view of the bay and the staff were always extremely polite, kind and professional. The ocean and pool area was very stunning and there was always a chair available. The restaurants were second to none and the spa was very relaxing. We paid for an ocean view room that came with either a king or twin bed. We were celebrating our 15 year wedding anniversary so before we went I sent them a message asking if we could have the king bed with a great view of the ocean. To my surprise they put us in the most beautiful suite, a gesture that was kind and beautiful but not expected at all. Such a fun surprise and made for an amazing experience at the Cliff Bay hotel for our first time in Madeira.
