Both the room and the bathroom were clean. Beds were comfy enough for a 1 night stay. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Interior of the hotel and rooms are a bit dated though if that's something that will bother you. Otherwise a great stay in a good location.

Great family place and beautiful nature
We really loved it! For a 60 years old hotel it offers everything you might need! Clean and tidy, really helpful staff, dog friendly, and the natural beauty around the hotel offers lots of fun activities! We booked only 2 nights stay and after the first night we have extended our stay for few extra nights without a second thought!
We are planning to return next summer and hopefully we will be able to book the small cottages they have!

Pet-friendly. Welcoming arrival. Lovely bar and lounge area. Our bedroom was very basic and dated. It was clean but in poor condition which let down our whole experience there. The entertainment was very good so was the food. The only negative service we had was the man at the coffee kiosk. He was unhappy to serve us and took a very long time to come. the person on reception had to call him through to serve us.
For families this is very well suited.

Just avoid it!
Just avoid it!
They cater for dogs, I'm NOT a dog person!
I lodged a complaint about the hotel, it was that bad.
There's naff all to do in Aviemore, it's just a small and cute village for tourists!
Go to Inverness, there's a lot more to do there and it's only 30 miles away!

Short stay
The hotel has been open for quite a while, and bedrooms could do with a slight upgrade but not much.
Alll the staff were excellent, professional and friendly particularly Andrei at the pool area. The hotel has a lot of activities including 2 pools which are terrific.

Overall stay is ok .Rooms are not cleaning daily basis .They are saying it is cleaning only 5 days interval. Asked them empty the bin as it was full .But the house keeping staff refused to do it .They have given only a bin liner instead of emptying the bin .

Family hotel
Hotel and stay were OK. It’s good for kids and location is great. Room was clean, a bit small with the extra bed for our 5 year old, but comfy enough. Building is somewhat worn out, but not too bad. Pool was good. Food options (particularly allergy wise) were limited. Breakfast price is expensive. I find irritating that the hotel charges for the most ridiculous items like towels in the pool and table tennis paddles. Aviemore is busy, book dinners in town in advance or places will be full

Good quality hotel with entertainment
Has a great range of facilities and entertainment for families. Restaurant is also comfortable with good food and good value. Has pool, sauna and outdoor entertainment for kids.
Unfortunately a clown who was there was very rude to my son and wouldn't give him a baloon, possibly because he is English, even though he gave one to everyone else... Sad let down with poor attitude. The pool is also very strict on under 16s using the pool and sauna.

I feel saddened by my son and my experience on a four night stay as I worked at the hotel 35 years ago the room we were given seemed to be in the staff quarters building which I don’t have a problem with apart from it being poorly maintained the bathroom floor was all uneven
And when first entered the room the beds looked unmade the staff that we encountered were friendly but just a lack of them there were other issues also that I would class as petty that I would say are petty but mostly down to as I said staff shortages so sadly I would not revisit any time soon
