We were thrilled with our stay at the Smith House. It's historical character really appealed to us. It was extra clean, staff members were so friendly and courteous, several complimentary items were provided, and the food in the restaurant was wonderful. It had complimentary parking and it is just a short distance from the square in town. Less than 5-minute walk. We could not have asked for anything better. We highly recommend it.

The room had an old and musky smell to it. The carpet was so old!! The air conditioner unit was old and put out an old smell. Bathroom was nice and updated. The personnel was friendly and helpful.

This is a MUST visit

We have heard about The Smith House for years and decided to try it out for ourselves. We were NOT disappointed! The staff was delightful, the bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean and well appointed. Dinner was amazing! We will be going back in the near future.

Everyone was so welcoming. Convenient location we were able to walk everywhere. It was quiet and felt very safe. Excellent room, bed was very comfortable. Food was so good and tasty gave us lots of food and excellent service. We will be returning!

The Smith House was the perfect accommodation for exploring downtown Dahlonega. Such a convenient location with easy parking, quick check-in process and the ability to walk easily. The accommodations were aesthetic, clean, and exactly as expected. Loved our short, but lovely stay!

My stay at the Smith House was great. Easy walk to the Dahlonega square, campus, and easy parking. Check in was quick and the room was clean with a nice bed and shower. I did not dine at the Smith House. With all that being said, the price per night was way too much for the stay, and i won't be staying here again unless it's a reasonable rate. Unfortunately there just aren't many options close to town.

Beautiful property, the rooms were very clean and communication with owners was awesome. It has minor issues being an old building which didn't affect my stay, such as some noisy floors under the carpet, and the fact that it does not have an elevator. But we loved the stay, this hotel makes you feel part of the town history. My oldest kids found it great to stay here. We loved Dahlonega and will definutely visit again.

This was the cleanest bathroom I ever stay at,details are important They even had a towel for us. Girls make up I came off season but still had such a wonderful experience.
