We made a reservation while on the road to our destination, so didn’t have time to do our “due diligence.” Did not read reviews, just saw the price and figured “How bad could it be?” We arrived after 10pm, checked in and went to our room. There was a chair against the door of the connecting room. The top drawer of the dresser was missing, the toilet lid was broken with a piece missing, the tub looked to have either a tick or bedbug in it. The 2 full beds had what looked like 3 small throw pillows on each bed without cases on them. I asked my adult son to lift the mattress to look for bedbugs and he said “No way, I’ll sleep in the car”. We decided to drive on through the 3.5 hours. The night desk guy told me to call the daytime manager and ask them for a refund, so I did. The daytime manager told me he would be happy refunding my 100.00, but it had to go thru the booking agency. So I am asking about getting my $100.00 refund.
