This is an older motel that's been taken over by Ramada. The price is fair for what you get, which includes the pool and hot/cold breakfast available. The rooms are in need of some renovations but otherwise okay. Would definitely stay there again and can recommend it to others.

The hotel is nice, but dated. While I was there the sauna and hot tub were also out of commission due to mechanical issues.

In general, carpets look dirty and old. We had a great view of the strait, but the glass doors didn’t work very well; definitely they need to be replaced. The little decks weren’t very cleaned. Bathroom was clean but it had a strong smell. Room was okay, bed was comfortable. This hotel needs a lot of upgrades, it looks run down. Location is great, breakfast was good and well run by the lady in charge. Staff was very polite and friendly.

I was surprised that a microwave wasn’t in the room.

There was food still in the fridge from the previous tenant. Top of the toilet wasn’t wiped down, and there was smudge marks all over the glass in the room. Either they don’t have a housekeeping supervisor to check over the rooms once the housekeeper has finished cleaning, or they aren’t very good at their job. Other than the cleanliness I think the building has potential to be a good place to stay

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool and sauna was great. The breakfast hall was roomy and there was a good selection of breakfast foods. We liked the make your own waffle station. The room's bathroom radiator was caked in dust. The maid service was pretty much non existent. Only one bed was made up. The rest of the room was not tidied at all. We left a note for more tea bags and that was ignored. The outside of the motel looks a bit run down and could use a refresh. The view was nice and the plants and flowers on the property are well cared for. So there are pros and cons but mostly good.
