I had a great stay at Chancellor Hotel. The room was comfortable and although furniture is a bit dated, I enjoyed the "vintage" atmosphere. Bed was comfortable (mattress on the soft side), room was clean and I could not hear the street noises much. The staff was very nice. Location is great - I was in SF for a conference and it was a 10 min walk to Moscone Center.

Great location! There is a cable car stop right outside. Loved the free cookies, apples and hot drinks in the foyer. Our room was lovely and clean, had a selection of pillows and the beds were really soft and comfy. The staff on the desk were friendly and helpful. San Fran is an expensive place but this hotel offered good value considering the location and facilities.
