Overnight stay, arrived late and left early. It was great to have the shuttle available for a 3:30am trip to the airport.

It was good. We only stayed overnight. There was no provision to keep the luggage in the hotel after the checkout time unlike in most other hotels, which denied us some time for sightseeing because it would have cost us $100 for extended checkout.

The hotel is pretty decent. You can definitely see its age on it. The rooms were tidy but couldve been a bit more cleaner. Valet parking was a huge mess upon arrival. The wait and delay to have someone park the car was 20mins or more. We ended up saving the $50/night and hassle and parked on the street. Overall, staff was super friendly and the hotel was okay.

Not what I expected

I have stayed at airport DoubleTrees before, several times actually. This one felt nothing like my previous experiences. The hotel itself was not as nice, the restaurant was extremely lacking, and the rooms were not completely clean. I found hair in the shower when we checked in.

Good Stay at DoubleTree

My flight was cancelled at JFK, and desperately needed to make arrangements for an overnight stay. I appreciated the shuttle to and from the airport. The receptionist was very accommodating despite the big crowd gathered to register from the cancelled flights. A bit overpriced - but then again, it is New York. Thanks also for the cookie which sweetened the deal.
