Always enjoyed our stay at Emisia. Its comfortable and ticks all the boxes. Their location makes it more of a pleasant stay. Their breakfast is always generous with varieties. Nice bigger rooms than the typical Japanese hotel rooms but the amenities of the room is outdated. The smell of the toilet smells like the sewer. The tub was old and it moved. When i entered the tub, it moved. We just stayed at the Hotel Grand Fontaine at Haneda Airport and it was very nice. Smaller room but nicer and the same price. It was a newer hotel but i highly recommend that hotel. Service was great but just the room needed updating. Great location, next to the Shin-Sapporo train station. There was a mall next to the hotel so that was great. Would i stay there again, the price would have be right to stay again. Maybe when they update the rooms.

Business trip; got a large room with a queen bed and great view on a high floor. Staff were very polite and accommodating, and assistance was available in English when needed. Be aware that you're a good half hour from downtown Sapporo's restaurants, bars and shopping.

We have stayed at Emisia for over 3 times and it will be our go to place whenever we are in Sapporo. Have already booked another stay for next trip. Feel like keeping this gem of a hotel as a secret but kind of feel bad to not to compliment it as it doesn't do it justice. Each time we stay, we feel like they have improved, so well done Emisia team!
