Great Pennine Manner at Pennine Manor

Comfortable stay, good size rooms. Breakfast range and quality excellent. Top class cleaning service - including huge bath sheet towels. Staff friendly and great views from location.

10/10 Exceptional

Our second time staying at the Pennine Manor Hotel and it always feels welcoming and friendly. The staff are polite, accommodating and attentive and the light bites on the food menu were lovely and filling. We were there for another presentation weekend which made the 5 hour drive worth it! Beautiful 360 views outside.

Great But

The hotel is in a great part of the country with amazing views and near to the Motorway for easy travel. It is remote on the moors but in esay reach of major towns abd cities. Staff are friendly and very helpful and the breakfasts reallt top notch. The only draw back is the accommodation itself. We had a superior room but although comfortable and clean needed a thorough upgrade. Furniture is mismatched and quite old giving the room in needs of some tlc. Apart from that a really enjoyable stay.

Views from the car park / helipad / restaurant are amazing. The hotel decor is a little dated, but the rooms are clean and comfortable and the price was very good. Breakfast was also great. We have family nearby and will definitely stay here again.

Not great...

This place is quite difficult to get to if you're coming from the south (very narrow/one way roads). The wifi was not working in my room. I would have to get out to the hallway near the exit to get a signal. The room was not clean on check in nor was it cleaned properly every day. There was hair in the bathroom and the carpet was full of white hair like it had not been vacuumed for years. I put the towels multiple times in the bath to get changed and the cleaning people would just fold it and put it back on the towel hanger which is disgusting and I couldn't use them again. The shower/bath was ridiculously small, I could not stand with my feet stuck together flat on the bottom of the bath and I'm a normal sized 5'6 woman. The heated towel rack was not working so really it was just a towel rack. The only thing that was good about my stay was the breakfast. Even though it was the same every day, it was nice and fresh.

Worth a visit

Good hotel in a good location, my only real gripe was that it was exceptionally noisy with people slamming doors and shouting outside our room until 3am. Also the TV could do with replacing and the bedside light does work in my room 22.All in all we'll more than likely stay again.
Clair, 2-night trip

Great night sleep but we woke up to heavy snow so we couldn’t get out of the car park but the staff were very helpful and after awhile we managed to get out and get home safely.
