Myah seems like a wonderful person, and this little gem of a place should be patronized often! They also have a motel in Clara City, about 17 miles east of Montevideo, and by outward appearances that place is also just as comfortable

Everything about this motel is nicer than I expected. Its not fancy but for a small town motel it is one of the nicest I have stayed in. The bed was very comfortable, a large screen TV, the wifi was fast and reliable. There was a very comfortable reclining chair which is a nice touch. The water was always hot with great water pressure. And the towels were nice plushy towels, not like the cheap scratchy ones you get in most budget hotels. Also there is a mexican restaurant right next door if you don't want to drive. The staff was very friendly. My only complaint is that there was no coffee maker in the room. They had instant coffee, but that does not do it for me. If there was a coffee machine in the room I would have given the rating a 5.

The lady who manages the Viking Inn is such a doll! She let my fiancé and I check-in a couple hours early due to the below freezing temps. She also upgraded us to a king for no extra charge, which was such a lovely surprise! The place was super clean and so cute and homey. The bed was a bit uncomfortable, but that’s the only thing I can really think of and can’t complain at all regardless because everything else was so excellent. There was even a little goody bag waiting for us inside!😊
