Ideal base for Exploring Yellowstone

Fantastic base for exploring the park. Even got to see a mother grizzly and her two cubs, got chased by an elk too. Breakfast is basic but plenty of other options around.

We had the luxury of a spacious room with comfortable beds and the evening swim and hot tub after long hikes at Yellowstone. Very conveniently located close to the park entrance. Has plenty of on site parking with two elevators for easy room access. Free breakfast is big plus, included some tasty feshly baked muffins from local sources amongst other stuff. Would stay again and definitely recommend.

They have two washing machines and dryers, but one of the dryers was broken. It was a disappointed that I couldn't use it. Other than that, it was good. Breakfast was fun with a variety of options.

Horrible stay

Stayed two nights the pool was out of commission and one of the employees had two large dogs that were left in the room across from us and barked early morning waking us up. After i went to front desk they said they would take care of it and the dogs continued to bark for hours. You dont lock dogs in a room all day that is cruel to animals and disrespectful to the people staying. We will never go back to this place again.

Great stay!

The Yellowstone Lodge was a great place to stay for two nights in West Yellowstone. The staff members were all extremely friendly and helpful (and offered plenty of recommendations for food and entertainment in the area outside of the park). The room itself was extremely clean and comfortable, well worth the price being so close to Yellowstone’s west entrance. It was so nice to walk to the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center and to the restaurants and shops in town.

Not worth the money.

For the price, this place was pretty sorry. It definitely needs an update. Everything is worn out, from the tub losing paint, to the doors peeling wood. The pillows were very small and the continental breakfast was iffy. At $280 a night U.S., it was a rip off. The beds were comfortable, but that's about it.
