Large room, helpful staff, nicely appointed room and bathroom. The shower worked, but the water never got hot, just luke-warm. Small but functional elevator. Standard pub fare available in the bar.

Not good. Parking wasn't great, Kiddie pool has a foot of water in it which wasnt worth my 7 yr olds time. Breakfast staff was great. They were really accommodating and improved our attitude towards the hotel.

Noise was a big factor

Room smelled of smoke, no temp control so hot, room was over restaurant with super loud music that you could hear so well you can sing to the words (Still loud with ear plugs) kids screaming in the hallways and slamming doors, rooms are older than the front foyer so misleading, the foyer smelled super strong of a nice cologne so not so good for my Mom’s allergies. The bed was comfy and the room space was good. Ask for a room away from the restaurant on the weekend or whenever they have live music past 11pm.

Good location, rating is too high for experience

The location is great within Cork; there is a lot to see & do within walking distance. This is important because parking is very limited on site so if you need to leave to drive you will likely have to park offsite. There is no temperature control in the room and we were on the 4th floor so it was VERY hot in the room (even though it was only around 65 degrees outside). The rooms were small and beds were clean but bathroom didn't feel as clean. The space to hang out in the lobby & lobby bar was nice & service was good. Overall I would probably choose a different hotel to stay at next time in Cork

Excellent safety features in bathroom - roughened surface on bottom of bath and grab bars. Bed with very comfortable mattress and bedlinen Kettle in room and plentiful tea and coffee supplies. Hotel was a little walk from "downtown". But the hotel was quiet, clean and the front desk was very helpful. They held our bags at the end of our trip until we were ready to leave. Let us check in and go into our room at 10am with no extra charge. Sometimes the wait for the elevator would take a few minutes but that wasnt a big issue. About a 15 minute easy walk from the train station. But no issues here and would stay again.
