8/10 Very good

Very good
Eduardo, 4-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The best hotel we stayed at in Japan. The staff is well prepared for tourists. Beautiful decor. The room was excellent — spacious, with great features (lighting controls, Nespresso machine, etc.), super comfortable, with a great bed and bathroom. We only chose to have breakfast one day due to the price, and it was wonderful. Great variety of both Western and Eastern options. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the main train and subway station (which is huge and has everything). We would absolutely stay here again, no doubt about it.

Small and warm but clean with friendly service

They allowed me to check in early with my toddler and they were super friendly and helpful despite being so early in the morning. But I noticed they offer to store luggage at the front if necessary. The double bed room I got is quite small and tight. The A/C wouldn't go down either so the room stayed warm despite being in May.
Tony, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The hotel is well located only a 10 minute walk from Kyoto Station. Modern rooms which could benefit from a bit more dusting but other than that a great stay. Breakfast was fantastic too.

Louis, 4-night trip

6/10 Good

Overall, stay was alright but this hotel was a bit chaotic. It catered to a number of tour groups, which was fine and understandable, but they would all congregate in the communal area and were loud. I went to the lounge in the evening for work and there were people loudly talking on the phone, children running around and the staff didn’t do anything to ask people to be mindful of others. The selection at breakfast was good and quality was okay, but food often ran out. There were a number of times over our stay that the cutlery and bowls ran out and it took a while for them to be restocked.

Close to train station

Walkable to Kyoto train station and the Kyoto tower. Lovely hotel, my only complaint was the restaurant/bar closed too early. It was like 9pm and closed 😞
CHER, 2-night trip

Unai, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The accomodation was spacious (for a family of three), clean and easy to access from Kyoto Train Station. The location of the hotel is tucked away from the Main Street and so relatively quiet but is also close enough to plenty of transport, shopping and dining. We had a great stay and used it as a base to explore nearby cities.
Emil, 7-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Everything was clean and comfortable. Exactly as pictured on website and all the staff were friendly and helpful.
Stephani, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Excellent value for money

The rooms are tastefully decorated and spacious, with comfortable linens, mattress and pillows. Buffet breakfast was a tasty mix of Western and Japanese style, with many different options available. Location is excellent - in easy walking distance to Kyoto station even with luggage. Overall excellent value for money.

The hotel was stunningly beautiful and the room was surprisingly large and fancy. Even though it was reasonably priced, I felt like i was living above my tax bracket
