Best of the Extenda Stays

Ive stayed at most of the extenda stays in the phx area. This is my favorite. Great location, clean, affordable, and a staff that are pleasant and professional.

Stay experience

Hotel Rooms are in poor conditions, damages to the walls, furniture, & appliances. Hotel itself is okay they keep as clean as they can. Walls are thin since your able to hear people in nearby rooms & in the hallways. Hotel close to the Valley Metro Station.

Worst Experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. The noise level all though the night, with doors slamming right outside my door kept waking me up. And no effort whatsoever to enforce any noise limits with the guests. It sounded like elephants at a bowling alley right above my room..
Eric C., 2-night trip

It smelled like smoke and old lady there was a cockroach and the mattress had many stains and the bathroom was very dirty .
Silvia, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Dirty room, smelled wierd, parts of our couch was missing, roaches, dirty bed, tv was not working and was in Thai. Wierd people walking in and out of hotel. Dirty elevator. Receptionist taking smoke breaks. No one answers the front desk phone. Or is there at the desk. We left in the middle of the night, we have not been able to get a hold of anyone at front desk to check out. DONT STAY HERE

Just don't

Pullout couch was broken. Couldn't be used as a couch or bed. Giant hole in the bathroom door. Bedroom tv hooked up to nothing, so it can't be used. Sink in the kitchen had almost no water pressure. No door but the main entrance is allowed to be used. Awful experience.

Not recommended if you want clean and safe hotel

Overall, hotel has run down. Dogs barking in hotel. Cigarette smell coming from rooms as you walk down the hall. Mattress was horrible and miserable to sleep on. "Free Breakfast" was just coffee and packaged muffins. Only doors that worked to enter building was front door (so if you parked on side next to a door you still had to walk around to front). Shower handle took forever to figure out how to get water warm. Room not overly clean. Staff was indifferent to complaints/concerns.
Albert, 3-night trip

Meh

Close to everything we wanted to check out, but we had a broken shower and had to find other places to wash up. Very spacious but not very clean, carpets were not vacuumed We were told we'd be partially refunded but haven't seen anything yet. Would recommend for a quick, affordable trip but definitely make sure to check the room out before purchasing anything

Horrible fresh smell of cigarettes. My room stunk of cigarettes. Needs new carpeting, fresh paint and a management team to enforce the no smoking rules.
David, 2-night trip

One night too many

We used the pull out mattress and it looked like it was run over by a truck. On the main bed there were burn holes in blankets. Really??

Do not stay here

Awful experience would never stay here or recommend anyone to stay here. First our room that was reserved was given away and the room that I was given was dirty and had cockroaches in the room.

Good enough for one day stay, trust

Checking in was easy, the staff were friendly. But the room was filled with nasty old stains. The seating chairs, pull out bed, the bed and the bed sheets. Not only they were stained, the whole room was smelly and the bed was lumpy. The toilet seat was broken and the residents there, were arguing in the hallways. But the a/c was working well.
Robin, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Dogs barking constantly, no daily service unless you paid extra, very poor condition. The hotel needs a complete remodeling. Horrible furniture.
Daniel, 2-night trip

Rundown Downtown Hotel

Very dated, run down property. The mattress was old and lumpy, the shower had no shampoo, the room was old and felt dirty. I slept with my clothes on. I get the feeling that this extended stay hotel is the last stop before you are homeless. The only positive was my check-in, very friendly girl. But other than that, will never go back.

Do not stay here they will tow your vehicle and vagrans will break into your room. Full of roaches!!
Shannon, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Needs upgrading badly.

Very basic, but clean. So basic I had to ask for a hair dryer. Coffee pot, dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils are available upon request. Multiple items showed poor maintenence. Top drawer in dresser broken, cracked, chipped, and broken tiles, cheap vinyl flooring, water spigots need adjusting, no tub stopper. A convenient place to stay, but we won’t be back.
Deborah, 2-night trip

Get what you pay for?

General manager seemed on top of it, but his associates were never at the front desk, anyone could have just walked in and when I did stop at the desk they yelled from the back room if I needed help. Never saw their faces unless they were smoking outside the front doors...Kitchenette falling apart, dishwasher didn't work, loose baseboard molding, chipped plaster, couldn't close the curtains all the way, no plug in the bathtub. The hallway smelled like cigarette smoke from the lobby to my room. Dog barked from 4am to 5am. Finally, roaches...9 of them, kitchen, bath, and my bed...
Andrew, 4-night trip

2/10 Poor

Nope

We needed a simple, no frills stay for an overnight. Everything smelled like stale cigarette smoke, the mattresses were disgusting and they were listed as queens but they were doubles. The entire hotel was just gross and the staff weren’t friendly at all.
