This hotel was like an oasis of calm and comfort. It offered a suitable and knowledgeable starting point to exploring the Killarney lakes on foot or shopping in town. The Parkavon is fine, although not special. It was mostly very clean (although there were hairs in my sink when I arrived), and my room under the eaves was pleasant. It has a slightly tired look -- the carpets are particularly threadbare -- and it is quite far out of town (a 15 minute walk). But the price was good, and the staff was generally helpful.

We had a very nice stay of 3 nights in the Parkavon hotel. The staff is very helpful and professional. They gladly help when needed. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was recently renovated. The beds were comfortable. The furniture and rest of the equipment though was a bit outdated and in need of maintenance.
