This review is for my stay at the mountain side of the hotel. Staff are welcoming and doing a good effort, amenities are standard not too exciting, location is good BUT rooms condition is bad, extensive renovation and updates are required, cleanses is barely average not even 3 stars ranking and definitely not a 4 stars or even close. Will not repeat my visit to this hotel.

My booking was made with fully inclusive.. hadnt known till i reached the hotel that expedia didnt pull my booking through.. expedia to contact has been terrible .. the hotel was terrible.. bathroom was mouldy and the best part was the shower wasnt working .when i spoke to the manager they said they all like this..no guest consideration and no resolution. Hotel room cleaning was requested and some days was not done. The odd day it was cleaned, the bed was made, however, either dirty towels were left and not replaced or no towels at all. One two occasion's I had excursion’s booked which I had missed due to there being no towels for a shower and once requested, it took over 2 hours to arrive to our room despite several calls and staff being aware of my excursion. I was told the laundry is on the other side of the building and to wait which took hours. The hotel location is great but the service was absolutely awful. I will definitely be visiting Sharm El Sheikh again but will not be booking this hotel

Good for the price

This is a good generally good hotel, the rooms are clean and cleaned every day. You get 2 bottles of water left in your room each day, there is tea and coffee and a fridge/ safe. I have stayed 3 times this year, it’s great for the price- The only negative is the large amount of Rude and irritating Russians and Ukrainians, they will push you out the way to get in front of you and enjoy large amounts of alcohol- so they are generally noisy at night. In the 3 times I have stayed this year, I have not seen or heard an English speaking person.

Stay was okay but I was not impressed by how run down the Mountain Side hotel was. A/c, bathrooms, and building overall is needs to be refurbished. It used to be a Marriott but the quality is not the same. Buffett is poor at the mountain side but pretty nice at the beach resort across the street. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Absolutely disgusting hotel. Filthy mouldy rooms I have many videos and photos to complain to on the beach about saying it’s 5 star. Should only be 1 star. Rude manager and staff even manager agreed as we had a meeting with him and he said it’s old and needs lots of repairs.

One important note: I highly recommend staying on the beachside only. Do not book the mountain side – it doesn't offer the same experience and may fall short in comparison. Our stay started a bit rough due to a misunderstanding at check-in, but the front desk manager Houssam quickly stepped in and resolved the issue with professionalism and care. From there, everything turned around. I’d like to give a special shoutout to Mohamed at both the beachside and the mountain side front desks – both were outstanding. They were attentive, proactive, and made sure every detail was taken care of. The rest of the staff were also incredibly kind and detail-oriented. The food was good for a hotel buffet – plenty of variety and everything was fresh. The location is excellent, the property is very clean, and overall, the quality of service exceeded expectations. All in all, I’d definitely recommend this hotel for its service, cleanliness, and great location – just be sure to choose the beachside rooms.
