I spend one night at thé hôtel with m'y daughter. The room is very basic, not even equipped with an espresso machine in thé room. Hair blower has served its time ans Overall there was not much feeling of coziness. No door between toilet/ shower and thé room therefore not suitable for Friends travel. At thé reception we asked for information to thé ETF and did not receive much help or friendliness. Only plus point was the confortable bed. I would definetely Rate it as overpriced and would not come back not recommend it.

Never accept being accommodated in room 101!

I got the worst possible room 101 at Level -2, which was extremely loud due to a very noisy AC or whatever mashine it was outside next to the only window, which could be opened. The room had a terrible smell. There were small black bugs in the bed, on the walls, in the bathroom. I have asked immediately after checking in to have the room changed, but I was told that I haven’t paid for a better room (if you consider a price of CHF 248 what I was paying per night as a low price, where colleagues of mine who stayed at the same hotel paid less but had nice rooms on 8th floor with a view, fresh air, etc.) few photos of the bugs on the bedsheets and on the walls are attached.

Nice location, right under the train station neighborhood. Close to the lake and city center. Rooms are nice and cozy, staff is nice although the cleaning ladies did make a lot of noise chatting in the hallway. There is a parking downstairs (car elevator, pretty cool), limited amount of space and pretty tight when it’s full but very handy. This hotel is great for a short stay in Lausanne.
