Never got to stay at the Motel 6. Motel 6 did not have a room reserved for me. Went through Expedia to make the reservation, everything went good. Got to Motel 6….no room. Had to go to Super 7 motel on the other side of town.

Dirt in hallways. There was a sock that laid in the hallway on day 1 and was still there day 2. Our TV was not working, went to call front desk to find our phone was not working either. Had to call from our own cell, they said they would come up to fix it. Waited 30 minutes and said screw it and went to bed. When speaking to staff, he was pleasant.

Looks are deceiving

The walls were dirty with dry food/drink on them. Onenof our rooms had blood dried on the wall. Check-in was quick and wasy with a friendly attendant.

Checkin with a prior reservation was a breeze. The room was modern and clean with plenty of light. The bed was comfy. However, I noticed when using the back door to the parking near my room, the outside door doesn't lock! That's not a big concern though since there's a deadbolt on my door, the Motel 6 is in a good area of town, and Sedalia is not a high-crime town anyway.

We checked in and went to see the room. Walking down the haul there was a horrible smell of food cooking and body odor. In our room is was NOT clean, dust and hair everywhere. There was a soft spot/hole in the floor hidden by a chair which was covered in hair. The staff that checked us in was nice and friendly, really only positive aspect of the facility. WAS NOT HANDICAP FRIENDLY EITHER... we canceled our booking, got a refund and went to another facility.

We had to book last minute and got their last room. They were very honest about it not being their best room but it was clean and allowed us to get some sleep and take a shower. Hallways need vacuumed pretty bad but other than that it was what I would expect at a Motel 6. I really appreciated the honesty of the young woman up front and how she tried to make our stay as good as possible. :)
