Definitely a place to just stay over if you need a break from driving across Texas. Barebones, as expected.
Breakfast times listed on Hotels.com were not accurate with the actual times. The tiny room key folder had a small slip of paper with the actual times printed on (weekdays: ends at 9 am, not 10 am). The photo of the breakfast area (with the bagels and donuts) is very much misleading. During our stay, that counter only had a small acrylic stand with mini muffins, plastic ware and a stack of paper plates, the main counter had a waffle iron and an unheated chafing dish with cold bacon in grease and 3-4 cold folded eggs with cheese stuck to the bottom of the dish (granted, it was 8:40 am). The 3-tier acrylic cabinet for breads literally had six pieces of white and wheat bread, for toast?
After I waited for a lady who was going on shift to clean rooms, having conversation with the front desk person across the lobby while she stacked up her plate with breakfast, I plated a few leftover items. While I ate, I watched the lady who attended to the breakfast items, bag up all of the muffins and breads and all other food items, (for use the next day?). Probably not good food safety practice?
Coffee was okay and available around the clock. The property overall was clean and near to other breakfast locations for those who sleep past 8:30 am.
